New EPC Version is Now Available!!

New Version 4.4.15 of EPC has been Released!

There are some new features in this Version of EPC:

New Product Selection Screen
The New Product Selection Screen now has a new column for admin fee’s (Financial+Fee Products Only) that will calculate the Product’s denomination and fee together to give you the total amount the customer owes you. For more information on the Financial+Fee products, click here

New Auto-Update Feature
The new EPC now has an Auto-Update feature that allows the EPC to automatically check for a new version if one is available. Clicking on the “Download Now” button will bring to our website to download the update.
The update will take to less than a minute to install and requires no uninstallation so all your data is untouched and unchanged.

What’s new in the prepaid market?

Ukash

...is an alternative way for people to pay for goods and services online. Ukash customers don’t need a credit or debit card or even a bank account…and they don’t have to share any personal or financial details to shop online. Customers simply buy a Ukash voucher and use the voucher PIN to pay at thousands of Ukash-friendly websites. Ukash websites include some of the most popular online destinations like “Skype” and “PokerStars.com”
Denominations are $25, $50, $75, $100 and $150

3V Visa

...is a another payment product. With a ‘3V Visa’ prepaid voucher, customers can shop on any website where Visa is accepted, without needing a credit card or debit card. (Sites like Nintendo, Amazon, iTunes…) To use this product, customers buy a 3V Visa voucher. When they enter the voucher code online, they immediately see their 3V Virtual Visa number and receive an email with the 3 digit security code and expiry date. They can shop with it online, over the phone or by mail!
Denominations are $20, $30, $50, $100 and $150

good2GO mobile

...is a global brand wireless company specializing in affordable mobile phones, SIM cards and wireless airtime plans. good2GO has a nationwide network across Canada, and offers all the benefits of traditional wireless carriers, but in a prepaid no-contract relationship. Dear Retailers,
Ezipin is excited to introduce a new category of products to your prepaid offering:‘financial + fee’ products. They are financial because they are products used instead of cash… and they are + fee because customers must pay a purchase fee on top of the face value of the voucher. Our first offerings in the ‘financial +fee’ category are Ukash and 3V Visa.

UKASH

Ukash is an alternative way for people to pay for goods and services online. You don’t need a credit or debit card or even a bank account…and you don’t have to share any personal or financial details online.
Customers simply buy a Ukash voucher at your store and then use the PIN on the voucher to pay at thousands of Ukash-friendly websites.
Ukash websites include some of the most popular online destinations like “Skype” and “PokerStars.com”
Denominations are $25, $50, $75, $100 and $150

3V VISA

3V Visa is a payment product like Ukash. With a ‘3V Visa’ prepaid voucher, customers can shop on any website where Visa is accepted, without needing a credit card or debit card. (Sites like Nintendo, Amazon, iTunes…)
To use this product, customers buy a 3V Visa voucher. They redeem the activation code online and receive a secure 3V Virtual Visa number.
They are then able to shop with it online, over the phone or by mail order. It’s safe and easy.
Denominations are $20, $30, $50, $100 and $150

These are very high-potential products. Canadians ordered more than $15 billion in goods and services online in 2009. That represented 95 million purchases. These figures are expected to continue to grow, and so is the number of purchases made with products like 3V Visa and Ukash! Because you don’t expose your credit card or bank account details, they are a safe online payment alternative.

WE NEED YOUR RESPONSE!!

These products will start appearing on Ezipin’s selling solutions in the next few weeks. But they will not be active.

You need to tell us if you are interested in selling these products or not. If you indicate you are interested, we will enable Ukash and 3V Visa sales on your Ezipin selling system, send you product merchandising and we plan to promote active stores via an online store locator! We plan to activate the products in early November for retailers who opt in. If you tell us you do not wish to sell these new products, we will not make repeat offers to you again. The products will appear on your system, but sales will not be enabled.

We are asking retailers to confirm whether or not they wish to sell these new products because it requires a small change in the selling process. When a customer buys one of these products, you must charge them the face value of the voucher PLUS a purchase fee. For example, when a customer buys a $50 Ukash voucher, you must charge them…

$50 face value + $4.95 purchase fee = $54.95 Total Purchase Price

Note also…Do not charge tax on these products!
